John, the point of Rube Goldberg devices is to do something simple with a really complicated machine. This isn't the best one i've seen, but it's pretty good.
John's an idiot... this thing took more brain power to build than he can comprehend... very nice
Im really impressed. i really like how it was done with very common household objects, you usually see these done with preset boards, domino's, and specific weights, but im pretty sure most of what was used could be found in the average home. Very well executed.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when people like john make their's known it's always so pathetic--the lack of grammatical skill and atrocious spelling made me cringe. anyway, this was awesome--so much time and effort was obviously involved, but i bet it was all worth it the first time it worked.

it was wonderful to see someone use time in a fun thoughtful way as to make a rube goldburg machine the only thing he should have had was water in that glass...wouldn't that had made it interasting..? maybe he did...anyways I can't wait to see if this guy makes anymore..P.S. I loved it! I've seen the rolling sellotape ramp used on a silimar Japanese part, but you've kept the main part of the machine in a very tidy package and the glass was a stroke of genius! Is there anyway of moving the scond part closer so that the guy who recieves the teabag is also able to reach over and put the ball at the beginning in the first place?
I'm not sure which I enjoyed more- the device or the commentary on John's ignorance! Thank you to all who saved me the dissertation in proper grammar!!

Very nicely done with visual effect and fun factor. In addition to being unbelievably more complex than needed. It takes some good imagination to make something so simple so complex.
I would rather it called a Heath Robinson contraption. It appears he was a major influence on Rude Goldberg. I therefore think naming writes for these contraptions should be his. Who or what was Heath Robinson's influences is another story. Contraption is also a far more accurate description than machine in my opinion. Americans always have to think they came up with everything!

Seems like a lot of work for such a short amount of film. Gives me new appreciation for movie production. Would have been fun putting it all together. Nice work.
